The congress aims to make visible the great diversity that exists in the practice of Landscape Architecture nowadays, as well as to promote its fundamental role to face the contemporary challenges of our time.

We bring together national and international experts from research and practice that will present current European strategies and experiences and present examples of specific projects. In doing so, it intends to initiate a debate on the scope of the discipline of contemporary Landscape Architecture  at all scales.

The topics we will focus on are:

  • Green Infrastructure
  • Nature Based Solutions – NBS
  • Public Space
  • Planting Design with herbaceous communities
  • World Heritage Cultural Landscapes
  • Participatory and social Landscape Architecture

The limits of our profession will be examined in order to identify new lines of research, discover new scenarios for design and inspire innovative forms of professional practice. It aims to reflect how our discipline is evolving and adapting to a time of rapid changes.
